luxirare

It all starts with a shoe (in this case the YSL cage boots) into the thought process of making this Luxirare Chain Jacket. Some sketching here, some fitting there, a couple of hours with chains and the works, and voila. An awesome jacket to go with the shoes. This NY girl has created quite a stir in the blogging community, with her amazing style, fashion and cuisine creations that gives many industry creatives a run for their money. If only I'm blessed with such (or even a quarter of her) talent!

Don't forget to check out Luxirare

streetstyle: denim + chucks

Barcelona: Loving the denim and CDG PLAY Chuck Taylors combo! I was this close to get a pair, but like always, it boils down to size. Grrr.

louise goldin x topshop

Insane. And major killer. Fierce spiky bling pumps by Louise Goldin for Topshop. Kill two birds with one stone as these might just come in handy and quicker than that pepper spray in your purse.

nippon candy

Stylist Masahiro Nakajima gives Shinjuku store Candy a darker edge for its A/W 2009 collection. Love at first sight!

31 rue cambon

Snapshots of the first issue of Chanel magazine, 31 Rue Cambon. Art directed and designed by Olivier Zahm of Purple Fashion Magazine for Karl Lagerfeld, to be distributed worldwide in all Chanel stores.

say hi to forever

Christopher Kane for Topshop. So fierce. I picked up the grommet leggings and croc top two weeks ago. Deep down, I wanted the grommet dress just as much but they didn't have it in my size.

Daul Kim looks amazing in the preview video. RIP

friday night lights

Some of my favorite accessories from Alexander Wang Spring 2010, straight off the runway. I am going to need those zippered boots to wrestle.

boxing in color

The Tawaraya Ring Bed. One that caught Karl Lagerfeld's attention, he took one home. Designed by The Memphis Group (a Milan-based handful of extraordinary creative minds in furniture and product design) and a Japanese architect, Masanori Umeda. Currently exhibited in Azzedine Alaia's gallery in Paris.

bad romance

One of the most symbolic videos by Lady Gaga to date, many thinks she's signing to the Illuminati. Dark, twisted and maybe even a tad ridiculous, but an interesting read nonetheless. She is, after all a Fame Monster. Read all about the meaning behind "Bad Romance" here.

the queen in red

First noticed this amazing skull clutch here. And yes, it's Alexander McQueen. Who else could it be? Now in its full glory - in victorious satin red and luxurious brass cut-out shell of birds and flowers. At $2,375 a pop, it better be.

semi automatic

Miami Art Basel starts next month from December 3-6 with Interview Magazine playing host to celebrate the magazine's 40th Anniversary. In collaboration with The Mondrian, a special Semi Automatic vending machine that dispenses one-off creations, Interview exclusives, cult classics and unique experiences has been installed at the hotel lobby. Think unique Raf Simons x Sterling Ruby artwork, Jil Sander limited edition tee, Andre's Incase & Akirtip Macbook and iPhone case, and a ticket to a vintage shopping trip with Interview's Contributing Editor, Fabiola Beracasa in NYC. I'm loving the Subversive Doc Martens, perfect for rainy days! For a list of limited edition exclusives available, click here.

sleepless city

Gorgeous clothes, stunning photos. Works of Danish photog Oliver Stalmans, and he's only 21!

not a mirage

Yup, that sure looks like a Prada store in a middle of a desert in Texas but no, you won't be spending any cash there. Prada Marfa is a permanent sculpture by Berlin artists Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset, about 30 miles from an artists' community called Marfa. Launched on October 1, 2005 and meant to look like a Prada store stocked with actual shoes and bags from the Fall 2005 collection, the art structure is sealed like a time capsule. Neat!

studded hearts

It's not just about the red soles, boys and girls. Christian Louboutin has gone for the kill with studded everything.

book club

Ksubi drops 13 unisex, retro-pop shades for its 2010 collection entitled "Book Club". Be it plastic or metal, they've got it covered in awesome finishes including digital leopard prints and layered color acetates with laser cuts. I'm personally obsessed with the round black tinted shades, reminiscent of Chanel's 5018 half-tints.

wild bird

Androgynous, a little rebellious, and one sexy, cool chameleon. Definitely not just another pretty face.

the writings on her skin

With 14 tattoos to date for supermodel Freja Beha Erichsen, it's refreshing to know that much ink could be embraced by the industry. Mostly small and relatively minimalist, with pretty script such as 'this world tonight is mine' and 'this too shall pass', Freja rocks them hard and I love the fact that she is not afraid to assert her individuality. Love the one on her neck that says 'float'.

ysl parisienne masquerade

In the spirit of Halloween and YSL's new fragrance Parisienne, the Misshapes rocked the masquerade crowd (Alexandra Richards took over later in the evening) held at Angel Orensanz Foundation. One eccentric party for the Lower East Side night owls, love, love, love the bright pink against the antique setting.
