they got the beat that bounce

charisma pull

Loving these Dekkori Charisma Pull-On Boots, $156, available in August at Intermix. Reinvent the look of your shoes in a jiffy. Perfect!

blackbird, fly

Just one look at these Blackbird, fly cameras by Japan-based Superheadz and I've fallen. In love. A twin-lens reflex camera, but instead of the usually larger 120 format film, these uses 35mm film which you can process, scan and print on-the-go. Really neat photos, check out the gallery. The red, white and pink Blackbirds are just hot. Available for $133 at unicahome

in case of emergency

No matter how fabulous those Jimmy Choos may be, dancing in 6-inch stilettos do hurt. Matt Horan came up with the brilliant idea of Rollasole, emergency ballet flats dispensed from vending machines in British nightclubs. Available in pink, black, silver and gold for £5, you can also purchase them online. It comes with a shiny bag to shove your to-die-for pumps in, so you can unroll these sole saviours and roll home.

bruno dayan

Love, love, love the work of photographer Bruno Dayan. His compositions are just impeccable. French actress and Oscar winner Marion Cotillard for Madame Figaro's February 2009 issue.

miss marc on the matrix

We've seen the Takashi Murakami x Louis Vuitton QR code not too long ago. Now, Tokyo-based SET has released a new code for Marc by Marc Jacobs, featuring the brand's mascot Miss Marc, to generate traffic to the upcoming release of its mobile website.

the eclectic

A fusion of classic victorian and contemporary styles, these quirky furniture pieces were fully customized by London-based luxury brand Jimmie Martin. The Baroque-n-Roll designer duo was awarded in 2005 for the best  "New Designer in Practice". Client base includes celebrities and designers such as Kelly Osbourne, Bungalow 8, Liberty, Pete Townsend and Kylie Minogue. Love at first sight!

subtlety is key

Aside from breeding their own crocodiles to meet the demand of its leather bags, Hermès recently revealed in its Fall/Winter 2009 press kit a calfskin bracelet with 8GB USB flash drive for a dual-purpose accessory. If you've got paper to spare, and a man to spoil, this should do the trick. Retailing at around $1200.

wanna be startin' somethin'

Been under the radar ever since I last partied to A-Trak and Steve Aoki in May but DJ Craze and Klever was in town last night for a 4-turntable throwdown, I just had to get out. Major Lazer, DJ Class, Madcon, La Roux, and MJ tributes were dropped among other sick tunes, my night was made. Mad props to these two heavyweights.

love for lanvin

Vogue Nippon's Fashion Director, Anna Dello Russo, in Lanvin two days in a row at Milan Fashion Week. Man, I'd love to raid her closet. That leopard dress is so hot!

irreplaceable

My heart breaks into a million pieces as pop music lost its King today. The incredible, the iconic, most legendary entertainer of all time. Thanks for the tunes, Michael Jackson. You will be sorely missed. RIP

superwoman

Doesn't anyone wish they look half as good at 43 while rocking studded Balmains and Spicys? If I had those legs, I'd make millions. Cindy Crawford for the latest Vogue Espana, shot by Alix Malka.

take me on a magic carpet ride

The first thing that came to mind when I first saw this: my, oh, my doesn't it make a smashing cigarette case?! Inspired by Bianca Jagger, this stunning $660 brass box necklace, complete with divine lace-motif is the brainchild of Brian Atwood for Bally's FW09 collection. That enigmatic head to toe collection of his on the other hand, totally blows my mind. A modern take of Princess Jasmine, I'll say. I'm charmed.

sabine pieper

Loving the work of Berlin-based fashion illustrator Sabine Pieper. There's an understated elegance to her art. Almost like poetry.

fit a load in your cranium

Say hello to the skeletons in Brilli's closet. Award-winning accessories designer Natalia Brilli, who has also worked under romantic visionary Olivier Theyskens at Rochas, came up with 'Vanity', a series of skull purses in metallic, suede and leather. Brilliant idea, somewhat creepy but totally one of a kind.

cat got your tongue

Solid work by photographer Andrew Woffinden. A mix of Juergen Teller and Terry Richardson, this man is one to watch.

camilla and marc

Am still dreaming about that hot gold blazer by Camilla and Marc SS09. For weeks now. The all nude combo is just as fly. Honestly, the entire collection rocks. Enough said.

Tell me if it's time to quit. I feel lightheaded.

the gold standard

Designed in 2005 by one of the best-known contemporary designers in the world, Phillipe Starck, this edgy Bedside Gun lamp is a hot conversation piece -- of money and war, death and glory. Made of 18kt gold plated aluminum with a matte black diffuser and a silk-screened gold printing on the inside. Available at Moss for $948.

modern alice in wonderland

How cute is the oversized leather bowtie? She looks like she's wrapped with love. Swedish label Acne continues to deliver its cool novel expressions into their Spring '10 pre-collection. Quirky pom-poms and lovely tulles? Loves it!

la vs liberty

Feeling rather queasy these past few days, there's something in the air. In dire need to rejuvenate and bounce back. Spa retreat or Johnny Depp?

russian delight

Too cute! Honoring ten years of Russian Vogue, 31 top designers took part in designing Russian Babooshkas. These half meter tall figurines are set to be a part of a special charity auction by Russian Vogue and Matrioshka's gallery, starting at 5000 euros a piece. More pictures here
