the glass box

Spectacular gastronomic experience with extraordinary Eiffel Tower views but for a limited time only. Nomiya, a pop-up restaurant located on the roof of the Palais de Tokyo welcomes a dozen diners for lunch and dinner daily. The 18 metre-long, glass cabin structure was designed by Parisian architect Laurent Grasso as part of the Culinary Art Home project between Electrolux and the Palais de Tokyo. Not only does it feature a unique menu from chef Gilles Stassart to match each new seating, cooking classes and afternoon workshops are also made available. The restaurant will be open until July 1, 2010.

Voted as 'Best Piece of Bedroom Furniture' in New Zealand's furniture design competition that was held in May 2009. Say goodbye to your sleeping disorders!

beat the swine flu

It's swine flu season and you're nervous. Wearing this on a t-shirt or post it in the office board might help you ward those jitters (it was enough to make me smile and laugh by myself!). Based on the extremely popular "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster, start making your own parodies for extra dosh.

cotton candy splendor

One look at the magnificent view of W Hotel's rooftop pool in Hong Kong and I get butterflies. Absolutely breathtaking, it features a gorgeous nature-infused mosaic created by Australian designer Fabio Ongarato. The new W Hotel offers a dazzling sensory experience --- an elegant, East-meets-West harmony and balance --- thanks to Australian interior designer Nicholas Graham and Japanese designer Yasumichi Morita.
